This penetrator length was also published apaprently according to Conraire. I'd say mm at a flat angle is more appriopriate because the round is segmented in apparently 3 parts, i belive this was explained here somewhere too.
Also, the diameter is 24mm. DM33 is said to have a diamter of 28mm and DM43 of mm so a diameter of 22mm for DM53 is too low of an estimate if you look at this RL pic of them standing to each other.
You can clearly see that DM33 is wider than both of them while DM43 and 53 are roughly comparable. This means that it is possible for units to be destroyed by certain ATGMs if the missile is fired before the element in question is below the minimum range indicated above.
